NOTE: The scholarships listed are intended for SENIORS ONLY; HOWEVER, sometimes a scholarship will be listed for students in other classes – they will be noted as such. Remember that all colleges have specific scholarships, so be sure to check with the financial Aid Office at the college of your choice. If you want information on these scholarships, see Mrs. Fichamba in the Career Center.

1. US Bank Internet Scholarship Deadline: February 28, 2009
Amount: $1000
Basic Requirements:
12th grade, apply online

2. Seattle Hiroshima Club Deadline: December 30, 2008
Scholarship Amount: up to $1000

Basic Requirements:
Senior, 3.6 GPA or higher, parent/guardian must be a member of Hiroshima Seattle Club, one parent, grandparent, great grandparent must be from Hiroshima Prefecture
Stop by the College & Career Center for an application.

3. McKelvey Young Entrepreneurs Deadline: January 25, 2009
Scholarship Amount: up to $10,000 per year

Basic Requirements:
Senior, own an operate a genuine business (non-profits are eligible), have at least 1 paid employee,

Amount: up to $2500
Basic Requirements:
Open to 9th ~ 12th, Essay Contest
