Remember that all colleges have specific scholarships, so be sure to check with the financial Aid Office at the college of your choice.   1) KFC Colonel’s Scholar
  Senior, GPA 2.75 or higher, enrolling in a public, in~state College or University
  Amount: $5000
  Deadline: applications open Dec. 1, 2009 and close Feb. 10, 2010

  2) 2010 Gates Millennium Scholars Program
  Senior, GPA 3.3 or higher, must be African American, American Indian/ Alaska native, Asian Pacific Islander or Hispanic, demonstrate leadership and volunteerism, Pell grant elegible

  Deadline: Jan. 11, 2010

  3) Seattle Swedish Community Scholarship
  Senior, Swedish ancestry not required,
