Congratulations Rotary Scholarship Recipients!
I had the pleasure of joining Karsen Farmer & Tony Vo yesterday at the Rotary Scholarship Luncheon. It was a great way to spend the afternoon celebrating both of these students accomplishments. Karsen will be heading to The Evergreen State College in the fall and Tony will be attending the University of Washington ~ Seattle in Sept. Be sure to congratulate these two when you see them! :)

Hey Class of 2009!

Congratulations!
Generally this blogger blogs about all the great things the students on our campus do however we have some really great Educators here too! This is coming from an email sent by Carrie O'brien....
"Last night Upward Bound had our annual end of the year banquet where we honor our students and our graduating seniors. We also give out an Ida B. Wells outstanding community member award. Last night we gave that award to Mary Jo. For her dedication to and advocacy for all students, how she always seems to be one step ahead of the game and for all the support she gives our program we wanted to honor her. She really deserves it. Stop by her office and check out her shiny golden apple and congratulate her.
Thanks for everything you do Mary Jo!"
This blogger would like to add that we should thank all our Counselors Mrs. Kirchoff, Mr. Sampley & Mrs Leonardson! They all work very hard for our students....thanks to all of you:)!

MARIA TRAN recieved the APIASF Scholarship for 2,500 renewable for 4 years for a total of 10,000.
Tony Vo recieved Washington State Foundation Scholarship for 5,000.
